Up until this point, I thoroughly enjoyed highschool. Yes, the drama and cattiness has always been around but it never really has been this out of hand. I was getting so caught up the pettiness of others and just focsued way to much on the negative little things.
There is so much in the world that is so much more important. Ten years down the road, are we going to still hold grudges against the people who may have said something or the people who didn't invite us? I highly doubt that those problems will still matter once real life hits.
The world is such a grand place, there are so many problems that focusing on teenage drama is such a waste of time; time that could be spent on helping save a life or volunteering time and effort to a noble cause.
We are the change, we are the generation to BRING the change. If this is so true, then why do so many of us waste our lives all worried about the miniscule issues that surround immature selfish problems.
We can bring change.
We are the change.

  1. This is all very true. I just hope you don't feel that because so many of us waste our time, that you are as well. It's not your fault if you get sucked in occasionally. We have our entire lives to be the change. But first we must change ourselves, and our way, our habits. Wanna bathe disease-ridden animals this summer? I'm in.
